1. Note whether there is a feeling of itching on white patches

It shows that the treatment is effective if the white patches areas are gradually shrinking or black spots appear in the white patches. On the contrary, patients must stop the drugs use immediately and change the treatment methods if there is no black spots in the white patches or the white patches still have the trend of expanding.

3. Note whether there is allergy reaction

These abnormal reactions may be the allergy reactions, redness or swelling, itch, stabbing pains, and even blister on a part of skin,etc, caused by the drugs use. For example, it can lead to contact dermatitis with the external use of Buguzhi Tincture and Nitrogen mustard potion, etc. Sometimes, white patches of certain people will enlarge and aggravate with the appearance of contact dermatitis.

Besides, vitiligo patients who are with holding period should avoid using irritating drugs. When applying medicine, the affected areas should be slightly red without swelling. The application of the drug should be used after the inflammation subsides if it causes redness and swelling in the affected areas, or patients should reduce the frequency and duration of application as appropriate.
