Cells is the Most Weakness Part of Vitiligo

The cells are the main member of the cell, blood, psychological three factors. The study shows that the cause of the vitiligo may be trauma, tired, the mental factors, sunshine, and pregnant, infection, or contact with the chemical substance which will cause the cells injured. Melancytes is the main place for forming of melanin. When the melancytes injured or self destructed, it will lead melancytes loss of function. So the synthesis of melanin will reduce.

Keratinocyte have a close relationship with the melancytes in the function and structure. The keratinocyte play an important role to in the melancytes regeneration, amount, dendricity, migration, and it also regulate the synthesis of melanin.

In the 1994 Schallreuter have predicted that the vitiligo is a kind of keratogenesis’ and the primary cell dysfunction disease. The melancytes injured and immunity function changing is the secondary related to the disease.

Although the exact cause is unknown, dermatologists consider vitiligo to be a result of improper functioning of the immune system. This is known as an autoimmune disorder, in which the body produces antibodies that attack its own tissues – in this case, the melanocytes - mistaking them for foreign material. Research also suggests that it may also be a result of viral infections that cause the cessation of melanin production, or there may even be a genetic cause. Roughly 30 percent of patients diagnosed with vitiligo have a family history of the disease.
