Is any side effect in 308 Excimer Laser?

It's absolutely safe to treat skin disease with excimer laser, approved by US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) in China. There is no reports of any adverse reactions, and no risks of cancer. Light spots can avoid laser irradiation of normal tissue, minimizing damage to normal skin.

During treatment, there is only a slight burning sensation in the irradiated site, and some patients may feel a slight pain in the affected area for a few hours after treatment (similar to a mild sunburn). For patients with psoriasis, there may be some erythema, or a short period of hyperpigmentation after surgery (recoverable).
