Photosensitivit Will Cause the Vitiligo

Drug-induced photosensitivity refers to the development of cutaneous disease as a result of the combined effects of a chemical and light. Exposure to either the chemical or the light alone is not sufficient to induce the disease; however, when photoactivation of the chemical occurs, one or more cutaneous manifestations may arise. These include phototoxic and photoallergic reactions, a planus lichenoides reaction, pseudoporphyria, and subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus. The pathogenesis is different for this drus induced white spot. Some white spot is induced by contacting some certain drugs. For example, the white spot at the surrounding of eyes is induced by the eyes drops. Some of the white spot is induced by the photosensitive reaction. Such as some orally artificial flavors, and some orally medication in treating Diabetes, hypertension, diuretics. one of side effect of these certain drugs is photosensitive reaction.

So you have to be careful when you take some drugs, that will cause you skin to be very sensitive to the UV light. Some treatments are not right for everyone. Many treatments can have unwanted side effects. Treatments can take a long time.

Current treatment options for vitiligo include medical, surgical, and other treatments. Most treatments are aimed at restoring color to the white patches of skin.
